Coney Island’s Luna Park set to reopen April 9

According to a statement released by Central Amusement International, the park will open with reduced capacity and COVID-19 safety protocols in place.

Coney Island’s Luna Park set to reopen April 9
Representatives of Luna Park in Coney Island say the facility will reopen to the public at 11:30 a.m. on April 9. 
According to a statement released by Central Amusement International, the park will open with reduced capacity and COVID-19 safety protocols in place.

The opening will commence with the “traditional egg cream christening of the Coney Island Cyclone” at 11 a.m., according to the company. The statement also says 500 admission wristbands will be given to hospital staff members and their family from the community.
