Police are searching for two men allegedly linked to a string of armed robberies at cell phone stores across the borough. According to police, the suspects have held up three stores in the last three weeks. They say that in each incident, the men showed a gun and demanded cash in the middle of the day. Investigators say the first robbery happened March 26 at a Metro PCS store in Flatbush. They say the men struck a store in Queens four days later and most recently made off with cash from another Metro PCS store in Flatbush. Store owners say they will make more bank visits than usual to avoid having large amounts of cash behind the counter. Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
