After allegedly deflating the tires and spirits of Bronx drivers for five straight days, police say the serial slasher has been arrested.
According to officers, 31-year-old Matthew Haynesworth is charged with third-degree criminal mischief and third-degree auto stripping. He's accused of vandalizing vehicles in Morrisania and Mott Haven.
Last Friday, NYPD Commissioner Ray Kelly announced that a man was in custody, but would not release his name until he was officially charged.
