Police are searching for suspects after they say a man was found bloody and unconscious Sunday afternoon.

According to authorities, the victim was attacked at around 2:30 p.m. in front of Checkers on Third Avenue and East 149th Street. They say there was no weapon or anything to imply the crime was a robbery.

The man was taken to Lincoln Hospital for treatment.
