Cops stop L train to catch suspects in fatal Brooklyn stabbing

Police are holding several men in the fatal stabbing of another man at a L train subway station Sunday.Authorities say five people are being held in connection with the death of 20-year-old Gerlin Collando.

Police are holding several men in the fatal stabbing of another man at a L train subway station Sunday.Authorities say five people are being held in connection with the death of 20-year-old Gerlin Collando. Police officers responded to a call at the New Lots Avenue Station on the L line around 3 a.m. where they found Collando with multiple stab wounds to his chest. Officers stopped the train at the Livonia Avenue Station where they arrested the five suspects.Police believe an argument sparked the deadly attack. Charges are pending against the suspects.
