Authorities say the woman inadvertently killed by a police officer in Brooklyn Thursday night has an extensive rap sheet.
According to police, the 23-year-old led them on a chase in a stolen car before crashing into a minivan in East Flatbush. They say she was ordered to get out of the car, but refused and set the car in reverse.
Officials say one officer was able to get into the car and attempted to put the vehicle in park with one had while holding his gun in the other. That's when they say one round was fired, striking and killing the woman in the chest.
Cops say the victim's long record includes at least two arrests for criminal possession of a weapon and several narcotics charges. Last year she was also charged with attempted murder, assault, burglary, robbery and attempted kidnapping.
