New court filings show Gilgo Beach suspect Rex Heuermann had more than 40 illegal guns and ten high-capacity magazines.
The documents come after Heuermann’s lawyers tried to get all of his seized guns back so they could be sold.
As News 12 reported, last week Suffolk County was trying to transfer the firearms to Nassau County for further analysis.
More than 280 guns were taken from Heuermann’s Massapequa Park home in July when he was arrested for the murder of three women.
Heuermann is due back in court next month.
