Murder charges have been reinstated against a former state trooper involved in a crash that killed an 11-year-old girl in Ulster County back in December 2020.
Christopher Baldner is accused of intentionally ramming his cruiser into the back of a car at 130 mph.
Monica Goods, of Brooklyn, was killed when she was partially ejected from the vehicle.
The chase stemmed from when the trooper pulled over the girl's father for speeding.
An Ulster County judge dismissed the murder charge last year, but an appellate court reinstated the second-degree murder charge on Thursday.
Baldner also faces reckless endangerment charges in a separate incident that occurred in 2019 when he allegedly used his police vehicle to ram a car.
