Police are asking for help identifying the suspected gunman who fatally shot a 37-year-old bodega worker in Crown Heights.
Investigators say shots rang out at around 4:15 p.m. at a deli at 801 Franklin Ave. According to the victim's mother, she says it all happened because her son would not sell the shooter a cigar.
When police arrived at the deli, they say they found the 37-year-old Nazim Berry with a gunshot wound to the head. Berry was rushed to the hospital where he died.
The shooter is still on the loose. The United Bodega Association says they are now offering a $10,000 reward for any information that could lead to an arrest.
