The Crown Heights community celebrated Haitian culture Sunday with music, folk tales and games.
Beating drums, blowing horns and singing voices were just some of the sights and sounds ringing through the neighborhood on Sunday afternoon.
The event was put on by the Haiti Cultural Exchange.
It was created to enrich the cultural landscape of New York by developing, presenting and promoting a wide range of Haitian programming.
