A Crown Heights landlord has been named one of the worst in the city, according to a list released by New York City Public Advocate Bill de Blasio. The report targeted 245 Sullivan Place, whose residents say they've been living with peeling ceilings, leaking pipes, moldy walls and a lack of hot water for years. The public advocate's office says de Blasio launched the list last year to pressure landlords into fixing violations and improving living conditions. The building's superintendent says contractors have been working diligently to fix the apartments, and that more than a dozen will be fully renovated.NYC Worst Landlords Watchlist
