Frustrated tenants in Crown Heights say their broken elevator has been an ongoing issue with no end in sight.
They say one elevator at 1545 St. John's Place has been malfunctioning on and off for years. The building has another elevator, but tenants say there is no way to get to it without crossing over the roof.
A spokesperson for Hilltop Management Agency says a full replacement of the elevator is in the works for the future. Until then, repairs are being made.
Right now, the spokesperson says the elevator can't be used until a part is ordered and repairs continue.
