Anyone receiving drug coverage through a Medicare Part D plan is being advised to review their health care options for 2008.
Medicare customers have the right to change drug plans from November 15 through December 31. People who do not make arrangements by January 1 could be locked into their coverage for the remainder of 2008.
The Medicare Rights Center suggests making lists of customer needs before signing up for any plans. They advise finding a plan to meet specific needs after listing medicines taken, dosages and cost.
Customers currently enrolled in private drug plans should also have received notification of any changes to their coverage, according to the Medicare Rights Center.
