Authorities say 21 men are facing more than two dozen charges for connections to a violent street gang terrorizing the streets of Brooklyn.
District Attorney Eric Gonzalez says the gang members range from 17 to 41 years old and include a father and his two sons.
The indictment says that the 21 defendants from two parts of the violent Folk Nation street gang face various charges including murder, attempted murder, robbery and weapons possessions.
The DA says the charges are in connection with multiple shootings throughout Brooklyn, that left two young men dead, including a 15-year-old, and four others injured.
From July 2016 to June 2019, Gonzalez says the gang members feuded with rival gangs like the Bloods and Crips from East Flatbush, Flatbush and Canarsie.
Depending on their age and charges, the penalties range from probation to 25 years to life in prison.
