Daly Pie cut its final slices before closing their doors for good Saturday afternoon.
After three years, owner Megan Daly decided it’s time for a new journey, but not before giving thanks one more time to the community that's supported her from the very first bite.
Loyal patrons made sure to pop in for their last cut of pie before Daly's pies were sold out forever.
The shop at 665 Vanderbilt Ave. had been a favorite in the community since it opened in 2016 with its jaw-dropping flavors and its friendly owner.
Despite the store's success, Daly's run hasn't been without obstacles. The Park Slope resident battled and beat breast cancer while running her pastry shop. As News 12 previously reported, she received a $44,000 donation from the community on her GoFundMe page to help with treatment costs.
Daly says she will still have plenty of recipes to share and that her love of baking will continue.
