Mayor Bill de Blasio says mobile vaccine buses are being launched with a focus on vaccinating restaurant and delivery workers regardless of their legal status.
The buses will be deployed in the Sunset Park section of Brooklyn Tuesday.
Dr. Ted Long says the buses can vaccinate up to 200 people a day.
The mayor says more than 4 million vaccines have been administered so far, and he expects that tally to keep growing as eligibility has expanded to everyone 16 and older.
Teenagers are only eligible to get the Pfizer vaccine, which is available at places such as the Bay Eden Senio Center, Citi Field, Medgar Evers College and the Javits Center.
