New confirmed cases of the measles in Brooklyn have brought the outbreak's total number of cases to 535.
The New York City Department of Health says four additional cases cases have been found in Sunset Park.
The Health Department continued to urge New Yorkers to get vaccinated. It says 25,000 MMR vaccines have been administered in Williamsburg and Borough Park since October.
"Given the high vaccination rates in Sunset Park, we do not foresee sustained transmission in this neighborhood. However, measles is extremely contagious, and I strongly urge unvaccinated New Yorkers to immediately get the vaccine," says Health Commissioner Dr. Oxiris Barbot.
Williamsburg has been under an emergency order since April due to the measles. The Health Department says 78% of confirmed cases have been in the neighborhood.
A total of 122 summonses have been issued to individuals who have not been compliant to the emergency order.
