The city's Department of Education today released thousands of teacher evaluations.
The reports target 4th- through 8th-grade math and English teachers and are based heavily on students' standardized test scores. Critics call the evaluations unfair, as they're based on small amounts of data with a margin of error up to 50 percent.
The United Federation of Teachers says the data is flawed and had gone to court in an attempt to stop the evaluations? release.
