The city?s Department of Education today released thousands of teacher evaluations.
The reports target 4th through 8th grade math and English teachers and are based heavily on students' standardized test scores. Critics call the evaluations unfair, as they're based on small amounts of data with a margin of error up to 50 percent.
The United Federation of Teachers says the data is flawed and had gone to court in an attempt to stop the evaluations? release.
