A design by the George Westinghouse High School robotics team landed members a chance to compete in the robotics championship.
The Westinghouse students meet in a workshop each week to draft, design and build robots. Their hard work finally paid off with an invite to compete in the robotics championship in Georgia. To the students, the competition stands for inspiration and recognition in science and technology.
The director of the robotics team says the trip to the competition isn?t about winning. He says the chance to compete is more about teamwork and the process that got the students there.
