Santa may be overweight, but according to one dietician, he doesn?t have to be.
Studies show most Americans gain up to five pounds during the holiday season, but nutritionist Miriam Pappo has a game plan for those over-eaters.
Her plan relies heavily on taking small portions of the treats and larger portions of healthier foods. Using a smaller plate is helpful when it comes to desserts.
Experts say people should not go to holiday parties on an empty stomach, remember to exercise regularly and not to be too hard on yourself during celebrations.
