The Department of Transportation (DOT) has delivered on its promise to install a four-way stop at an accident-prone intersection in Longwood.
The new stop signs went up at East 156th and Kelly streets following numerous demands from residents to make their streets safer.
Community members say there had been at least three car accidents at the location since December, including a crash that sent a police van and livery cab into a day car center.
