The city's Department of Transportation recently posted a street sign that read "Remsem Street" with an "m," instead of its real name, which is Remsen.
The DOT has since taken the sign down so that no one will be confused.
News 12 Brooklyn hit the streets to test residents' knowledge of other commonly misspelled or confusing street names.
For example, there's an Avenue J in Midwood, which is just the letter "J," and nearby there's a Jay Street, which some residents say can be confusing.
