The Department of Transportation (DOT) is planning to put up a new pedestrian fence in Fort Greene in an effort to keep cyclists safe.
Bicycle riders in the area have complained about teenagers throwing bricks at them while they ride on Navy Street. Officials say the new fence will enclose the footbridge, preventing objects from being thrown.
The fence is expected to be installed later this month.
