Dozens of demonstrators have been arrested following protests against federal immigration enforcement.
Protester took to the streets in Foley Square and marched through lower Manhattan in response to what is taking place in Los Angeles.
News 12 has been told multiple people were arrested for sitting on roadways and blocking vehicle and traffic after not complying with police orders.
Demonstrators marched to several immigration courts where ICE has been detaining migrants the past few weeks.
The mayor and police commissioner say they have plans and resources in place for any civil unrest in New York City.
