The driver of the SUV that struck and killed a 5-year-old in Williamsburg Tuesday says the bus driver did not have flashing lights on.Police say, Chana Friedlander was crossing Marcy Avenue and Middleton Street to board her school bus when she was struck by a BMW SUV. The driver of the BMW is identified as Tricia Thomas. Eyewitnesses say she ignored the bus's flashing lights, but Thomas told police the lights of the bus were not on when she passed by.
