This system is not expected to behave like a typical nor’easter or tropical storm. Instead, it appears to be forming as a hybrid, combining characteristics of both types of storms.
While the exact details are still being refined, early forecasts suggest the potential for heavy rainfall that could lead to localized flooding, strong winds capable of causing power outages and coastal flooding, along with beach erosion.
