One man's garbage seems to be another man's problem in East Flatbush.

Trevor Mitchell says he has lived in his home for 45 years, but in the past two weeks, he's noticed large piles of trash spilling over onto his property.

Mitchell says a neighbor's son moved into the basement next door and brought a U-Haul full of his things.

He says his neighbor's trash, which contains jagged poles and even rusty nails, has spilled into his shared driveway.

Mitchell says he called 311, but the agency told him to call back in a month. He also says he tried talking to his neighbors, but nothing has been done to clean up the mess.

News 12 reached out to the Department of Health to see if it can look into this issue but has not heard back.
