A family is in mourning after an elderly woman was found dead this morning in her Bed-Stuy apartment with a stab wound to her neck.
Authorities say Gloria Cadet, 85, was found early Friday. The medical examiner will conduct an autopsy to determine the official cause of death.
Police say there was no sign of forced entry to the first-floor apartment.
