    A New York City school official says a staffmember at a Brooklyn elementary school was diagnosed withtuberculosis. City Department of Education spokeswoman Margie Feinberg saysthe paraprofessional - a type of teacher's aide - is being treatedand is recuperating at home. City officials say students at Brooklyn's P.S. 25 in theBedford-Stuyvesant neighborhood are being tested for the bacterialinfection as a precautionary measure. Feinberg says the tuberculosis case was detected in early June.She says an informational meeting was held June 11 to notifyparents.
