A disturbing video shows the moment a man was attacked by a group of people on a bus in Brooklyn on Monday. 

News 12 is told the attack happened near Albany Avenue and Glenwood Road on Monday. The 67-year-old man appeared to get into a fight with a group of people on the bus, and when the bus stopped, the fight spilled into the street. 

Video shows the group lunge at the man, some punching him in the head. As he tripped over a bike chained to a pole, one of them pulled out what looks like a hammer and hit him in the head. 

This caused lacerations, according to police. After one last kick to the back, the video shows the group running away. 

People in the community say they are disturbed by the incident. 

Police say no arrests have been made at this time. The investigation is ongoing. 

The Metropolitan Transportation Authority says they have no further information at this time.
