? Thousands of the faithful marched across the Brooklyn Bridge on Good Friday to commemorate the crucifixion of Jesus.
Many participants said the walk was their way to show their appreciation for the sacrifice Jesus made for mankind, according to Christian teachings.
They also said they are looking forward to celebrating the resurrection of Jesus on Easter Sunday.
