Two families are displaced and a business has been forced to close after flames ripped through a building in Crown Heights.
Firefighters say that they responded to the fire on Rogers Avenue shortly after 10 a.m. Friday. They say that it took them nearly 40 minutes to get the flames under control.
Two people were taken to Kings County Hospital with minor injuries.
The Red Cross is placing the displaced families in a hotel for now. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
