Families enjoy ice rink outside Ingersoll Houses in Fort Greene
The cold didn’t stop residents in Fort Greene from enjoying
a skate and music in a COVID-19 safe way.
The rink was set up outside the Ingersoll Houses, allowing
families, who may have trouble getting to a rink, to have some fun without
having to leave the area.
It was the second consecutive year that the Taj Gibson
Foundation hosted the event. Skates and other materials were given to residents
at no cost.
The skating event continues through Sunday.
