Dozens of families were out in Brownsville on Saturday for the seventh annual Pitkin Avenue Parade and Egg Hunt.
Parade participants included the Brooklyn Gatorettes dance team, a man on stilts, a woman dressed up as Aunty Goose and Brooklyn's Antique Car Association.
The parade made its way to Betsy Head Park, where festivities continued. There was face-painting, balloon animals and an egg hunt in a park field.
A band of five 11-year-olds, called Control the Sound, also performed for the crowd.
Participants say it was an excellent way to bring the community together and let kids have fun.
The event is sponsored by the Pitkin Avenue Business Improvement District and Trucked Out club.
