Family, friends and neighbors held a vigil Friday for the victims of last week's Pacific Street fire.
Fire officials ruled the fire that killed two women and two children was suspicious. They are continuing their investigation into the Pacific Street incident as well as five other fires. Members of Community Board 8 say incidents like the one on Pacific Street are an attack on the community and residents.
Meanwhile, residents say the deadly outcome of the fire may have been prevented if the building had smoke detectors. Residents also blame the closing of a number of nearby firehouses for what happened.
