Family and friends of Aliyah Boomer are still searching for answers after she disappeared last year.

The 27-year-old was last seen in August 2015 leaving her friend's apartment at the Red Hook Houses.

"This is very heavy on my heart. Not knowing where your child is. Not knowing if she's eating, sleeping, dead or alive," says Victoria Boomer-Harris. "I'm asking the New York City Police Department, Mayor de Blasio, please...help us find my daughter."

Family members think Aliyah may have been abducted and fear she may have been killed.
