A man remains in a coma after a stabbing that killed his brother at a soccer match in Williamsburg on Sunday, relatives say.
Investigators say that Oscar Martinez and his brother, Devlin, were playing soccer at the Juan Morel Campos school in Williamsburg when the stabbing occurred.
They say there was a fight between the two men and members of the opposing soccer team.
When police arrived on the scene, they found the two men with multiple stab wounds. Both were rushed to Woodhull Hospital, where Delvin Martinez was pronounced dead. Family members say Oscar Martinez is in a coma and fighting for his life.
Devlin Martinez leaves behind a wife and 6-month-old son.
Police have not identified any suspects in the case, but they are asking anyone with information to contact them.
