As a winter storm approaches, worry grows for a Canarsie family searching for their legally blind loved one who has autism.
John Peebles, 51, has been missing for four days. His family is begging for community help to bring him back home.
Peebles went missing after going to a nearby store Monday evening. His family says this is something he is used to doing by himself.
"We know he's hungry, we don't know if he's sleeping, we don't know if he's cold, and we want him home," says Tonya Peebles, John's sister. "He has a family who miss him and we want him home."
His family says John uses a special MetroCard to get around. Police told his family it was last used Wednesday night on a bus in the Bronx.
