Family says 15-year-old stabbed by parents of another student in Williamsburg

A 15-year-old student was stabbed outside of Williamsburg High School on Tuesday.

A 15-year-old student was stabbed outside of Williamsburg High School on Tuesday. 
Daquan Lamorell’s family tells News 12 that they believe he was stabbed by the parents of another student. 
They say the only reason he survived was because of his heavy winter coat.
News 12 reached out to the Department of Education, who says school safety and school staff immediately stopped the incident. 
The Department of Education says no students were injured.
According to Lamorell’s family, the altercation left him with a chipped tooth and minor bruising. 
The incident was caught on school surveillance cameras. The NYPD is investigating the incident. 
No arrests have been made at this time.
