A Fort Greene family is looking for their dog, who has been missing for more than a week.
Mirabelle, a black and white shih tzu-poodle mix, was stolen from outside of a Macy's on Fulton Street in Downtown Brooklyn. The Egilmez family says their nanny left her tied up while running errands. She has since been fired for her actions.
They have put up flyers along the neighborhood. Mirabelle is described as having a distinct overbite, a snaggletooth and a microchip located in her shoulders.
The family tells News 12 they hope a witness to the theft can help them reunite with their beloved canine.
