A Brooklyn family is asking for the public's help in finding a missing relative who is visiting the borough from Ecuador.
The family of Geovanny Gonzalez says he was last seen Friday evening at a family business at 257 Wyckoff Ave. in Bushwick. They say the 26-year-old suffers from a severe mental disability that leaves him with the mental capacity of a 10-year-old.
Gonzalez also suffers from epilepsy and does not have his medication, which puts him at serious risk for seizures.
He is described as 6 feet tall and weighs about 180 pounds. He was last seen wearing a brown and gray polo shirt, gray pants and black shoes.
Gonzalez only speaks Spanish and does not understand English.
Anyone who may have spotted Gonzalez is urged to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
