The Food and Drug Administration is warning people about the dangers of children mistaking THC gummies for candy.
According to experts, THC infused products often resemble popular kids candies and snacks.
If consumed by children, the feds say they can cause symptoms such as hallucinations, rapid heart rate and vomiting.
Since the beginning of 2021, the FDA has reported over 100 adverse events from edibles with THC.
If a child has consumed an edible, the FDA recommends you call poison control immediately.
