3h agoA bus crashed through a fence in front of a home in Canarsie on Tuesday afternoon.
The FDNY says it happened just before 3:30 p.m. Tuesday on East 98th Street.
The FDNY says it responded to the area for a report of a pedestrian struck and says one person was taken to Brookdale Hospital.
There is no word on the condition of the driver or how many people may have been on the bus.
The homeowner said she was lying down inside her house when she heard a bang and saw the bus in front of her house.
"I just hope whoever was on the bus is OK," she said.
