FDNY: 2-alarm fire burns East Flatbush store

A two-alarm fire broke out at a 99-cent store in East Flatbush Friday night.

A two-alarm fire broke out at a 99-cent store in East Flatbush Friday night.
Officials say the flames broke out around 8 p.m. at 1859 Nostrand Ave. Over 100 firefighters worked to put out the blaze.
Three firefighters were taken to a hospital with injuries not considered life-threatening. The store owner was checked by EMS and released.
The cause of the fire is under investigation, but fire crews say they found a lot of debris in the basement.
