A four-alarm fire broke out at an apartment building in Kensington Thursday, officials say.
FDNY crews responded to 811 Cortelyou Road just after 2 p.m. Thursday, within just two minutes of receiving a call on the situation. Officials say the fire came from the top floor of the six-story building.
Citizen and FDNY video captured the scene, where the dark gray smoke could be seen emanating from the roof.
The fire was deemed under control by 4 p.m. As of now, there is no known cause, but officials are focusing on the roof for their investigation.
Fire officials say two firefighters sustained minor injuries, and because the fire was confined to the top of the building, all residents were able to get out quickly and safely.
