FDNY: 6 people, 1 firefighter injured in fire at 6-story building in East New York

Fire officials say the fire broke out on the fourth floor of the building just before 8 p.m.

A fire broke out in a six-story building on Georgia Avenue on Monday night, according to FDNY. 
According to fire officials, the fire broke out on the fourth floor of the building just before 8 p.m. and required over 100 fire personnel on the scene to subdue the flames. 
The FDNY says that seven people were hurt, including one firefighter. All but one of the seven people who suffered injuries were transported to nearby hospitals. 
Fire marshals are now investigating the cause of the fire.
