A truck boom fell onto a Borough Park home on Thursday afternoon, according to the FDNY.
Fire officials say the incident took place at 1442 44th St. between 14th and 15th avenues just after 2:30 p.m.
60 fire and emergency medical personnel responded to the scene and all workers at the building are accounted for.
Police say that no one was in the home when the incident took place. They say the crane may have been coming off the truck trailer before falling over into the home.
The Department of Buildings was called to the scene and determined that a truck-mounted boom crane was being used to lift steel beams over the building before a section of the boom snapped, landing on the building's roof. They added that the steel beam that was being lifted landed in the rear of the neighboring property.
The DOB says an additional crane is being brought to assist with the removal of that equipment from the roof of the building.
There have been no reported injuries from the incident at this time.
