It was all about celebrating Afro-Latino culture at a festival in Bed-Stuy Sunday.
Some of the biggest names in Afro-Latino music were on hand to get people dancing at Restoration Plaza and to help bring the community together.
Despite the years of discrimination that still endures in places such as Haiti, people say the festival highlights just how much Afro-Latinos matter to society.
Festival goers add that it's also a reminder that Afro-Latinos' contributions to the city, the country and to Latin America are important.
