One firefighter was sent to the hospital with minor injuries following a Sunday night fire in Borough Park.

Fire officials say the fire happened in the basement of a building at 13th Avenue between 42nd and 43rd streets.

The fire was under control shortly after 7:30 p.m.

The cause of the fire is still being investigated.
